Weetwood Hall Estate

Just a few miles out of town, set within nine acres of stunning woodland and picturesque gardens, the Weetwood Hall Estate. If you are a history lover, this might be the place for you. The hotel is built around a 17th century manor house with parts of property even older than that, dating back to 1540.

Weetwood Hall Estate is surrounded by greenery and rich wilderness. An ideal place to relax and unwind in the tranquillity and peace. If you are looking for somewhere to take a break from the chaos of life and breathe in the fresh countryside air, this is a spot for all types of travellers. Whether you are solo, in need of some space or a family looking to get outdoors and spend some quality time together.

The Estate has lots of space for parking as well as convenient bus routes for those city folk needing a staycation but not wanting to travel far. Spend some time exploring the local areas. Take a picnic and follow the trails in the Yorkshire Dales National Park or visit the Harewood House on your tour of the Yorkshire country estates. You could even head into the city for a day, lord knows there is plenty to see and do there.

Back at the hotel, you are in for a treat. The room options are very ‘on theme’ (if you want to go full out on the experience). Old-world touches such as four-poster beds in the Heritage rooms sound like fun. Or go hopeless romantic with the Manor House Room, a comfortable king-sized bed, red detailing and soft furnishings. You do have the choice of the Classic Room too with modern décor and stylish cotton bed linen – but where is the fun in that?

Are you wondering about food? Don’t worry Weetwood has you covered. The on-site Convive restaurant has a variety of food options with a locally sourced selection of British classics to your typical Yorkshire snacks. Afterwards, why not pop into the Stables Pub (also part of the estate) and enjoy Yorkshire craft ales, spirits and snacks. Does it get more ‘wealthy landowner-esque’ than that?
