A short stroll from the seafront, The Ruskin Hotel sits in the shadow of the Blackpool Tower and is a short walk from the famous Pleasure Beach. With family-friendly pricing and close proximity to a host of Blackpool’s most popular attractions, it provides a handy and reasonably-priced base for those wanting to stay right in the thick of it.

The large, established three star hotel houses 99 en-suite bedrooms and offers a range of different accommodation types including single, double, twin, triple and family rooms. Its recently opened Lodge Building across the street, meanwhile, offers a choice of one and two bedroomed serviced apartments, all fully equipped with 50” smart TVs, full kitchens, spacious rooms and private access.

Its hotel bar, Roly’s, is open daily serving a range of very affordable pub grub as part of its daytime and evening menus. Here, you’ll find a good selection of hot and cold sandwiches for under £5, as well as a short menu of burgers and pizzas. Roly’s also serves a popular Afternoon Tea which, for less than £10 per person, is an absolute steal.

For those after something a little more substantial, the hotel restaurant Ruben’s serves a globe trotting three-course table d’hote menu that changes daily. According to a sample menu on the hotel’s website, guests should expect to find everything from traditional roast beef and rice pudding to chilli con carne, vegetable lasagne and chicken tikka masala on offer.

As well as its affordable bar and restaurant, The Ruskin Hotel also features a wellness retreat, spa and a raucous 300+ seater cabaret lounge, Rembrandts, which plays host to live entertainment every evening. It also has its own in-house salon, Shenko, for those who want to take the hassle out of getting ready for a big night out, and a 24-hour reception team that are on hand to help with anything you might need during your stay.
