The Life Centre North

In the shadow of Beetham Tower, just off Deansgate, you’ll find The Life Centre North. A hub of yoga classes, workshops and courses that has something to suit every taste. Regardless of whether you’re into a steamy hot flow class or a more mindful practise, The Life Centre has between four to seven classes a day, each  taken by one of the 18 teachers who are based there.

Although the centre has a vibrancy about it and a sense of constant yogic happenings, once in the classes, each teacher’s personality really comes out and gives the sense of a more relaxed and intimate space.

It is one of the few places in the city centre where you can find classes for less mainstream strands of yoga such as Kudalini yoga as well as the incredibly relaxing somatic movement and restorative yoga. Details of workshops can be found on The Life Centre North website, they usually take the form of a longer more in depth look into one aspect of yoga practise with a particular focus on one area of the body or mind. Courses are spread over several days either consecutively or on a weekly basis with a similar idea of building on the previous session’s practise and growing as a group within one area.
