Originally a striking, art deco style courthouse, today The Courthouse is a large retail space on Stamford New Road in the centre of Altrincham, which has remained empty since 2009. It was one of the central venues for Hidden Altrincham 2017, where a variety of exhibitions and events were held, as well as the festival preview night. It’s a fine space and hopefully not empty for too much longer.
