You’re never too old to learn a new skill and The Circus House in Longsight welcome all regardless of experience or ability. With a different class every night you can develop your skills with silks, aerials, tumbling or acrobalance. In each class you’ll find one teacher for every ten participants, so each person can have the individual attention they need to progress. The teachers are all performing circus artists from a range of backgrounds and bring an infectious enthusiasm for their craft to the room.

their attitude is based around sharing a love of circus with anyone willing to give it a go

Having started 8 years ago The Circus House is a very welcoming and open environment which is accepting towards all. Although most of the skills are physically demanding there is no need to be an acrobat before entering the room. Each class is run in an inclusive way for all levels of physical ability. Often circus can be seen as an intimidating environment to walk into as a beginner. This is something the Circus House tries to avoid at all costs as their attitude is based around sharing a love of circus with anyone willing to give it a go.

As a company they put all the profits back into the community and work towards making the facilities and opportunities better for the benefit of everyone who uses them.
