The Baltic Hotel

A relative newcomer to Liverpool’s hotel scene, The Baltic Hotel has found a home on Jamaica Street at the heart of the Baltic Triangle. It’s conveniently located close to all that the area has to offer, while also being a short walk away from the M&S Arena, the Waterfront and the City Centre. The Baltic Hotel is round the corner from the Baltic Bakehouse (for pastries and strong coffee) and Manifest (for the ultimate fine dining experience).

The hotel staff change the flowery decorations around the entryway depending on the season. For the guests it’s a stylish entrance, for the locals it’s a sure sign that Halloween/ Christmas/ spring is here.

Inside, the hotel is anything but boring. Described as the place where “punk art meets urban chic”, the Baltic Hotel has 52 bedrooms across six floors. Each one is stylishly decorated – expect ambient lighting, fun yet tasteful colours and lots of velvet. There are fancy toiletries and waterfall showers in the bathrooms, ultra comfy beds and modern vanity tables in the rooms. There may be a touch of punk but mostly it’s invitingly pretty.

Downstairs you’ll find Duck & Swagger – a relaxed pub serving delicious breakfast, lunch and cocktails. They also stream live sports if you fancy a cold pint while watching the match.

This elegant yet undeniably cool stay will not disappoint.
