Street Food Chef is an award-winning Mexican cantina. Serving speedy and fiercely tasty food, the eatery provides a healthy fast food alternative for the people of Sheffield. Take your pick from delicious burritos, crunchy tacos or loaded nachos. There’s a whole bunch of gluten and dairy-free options available too.

Using locally sourced, fresh ingredients where possible, Street Food Chef works with many of Sheffield’s independents including Our Cow Molly, Moss Valley Fine Meats and #brownies.The eatery has built up a fine reputation since it was founded in 2011 with awards from Eat Sheffield, a runner-up in the Observer Food Awards and a reader recommendation in the Good Food Guide.

Perfect for hangover-curing brunches or for a bite before the theatre, you’ll find an authentic stock of Mexican drinks like Red Pig beer, Desperado and fruity Jarritos here too. Just make sure you leave a little bit of room for dessert – we wouldn’t want you to miss out on the churros.

In addition to the Arundel Street cantina, the Street Food Chef has a takeaway burrito bar on Pinstone Street, and a place on Sharrow Vale Road, available for eating in, delivery and collection.
