This Roman Catholic church was founded in 1859 and became the heart of the Little Italy Community in Ancoats. It closed its doors in 2004 but has since been re-opened as a concert and event venue under the management of the Hallé, which also uses the nearby St Peter’s church as a rehearsal and recording space.
