Sandcastle Waterpark

The UK’s Largest Indoor Waterpark really does have something for everyone. Located on Blackpool’s South Promenade, it has 18 fantastic water slides and attractions in a tropical 84° climate, making it the perfect indoor activity for thrill seekers.

Hardcore waterpark fans can take to the ever-popular Masterblaster, the UK’s longest indoor Roller Coaster Waterslide that offers more than 200m of adrenalin-filled excitement, or the Sidewinder, the world’s first indoor half-pipe waterslide. You can also head up to the rooftop for both Aztec Falls and Montazooma, which promise high speeds and hairpin bends aplenty.

For those who want to take things a little slower, you can head to the Sea Breeze Spa, a relaxing oasis featuring a Sauna, Steam Room and salt inhalation room, as well as heated loungers, foot spas and Aromatherapy.

There are also big adventures for little explorers. Younger guests can enjoy the thrills and spills of the Treetops water chutes, Fort Riptide and HMS Thundersplash, as well as the Caribbean Storm Treehouse. It’s an interactive adventure play area that features a giant tipping coconut, which happens to be very good at tipping gallons of water over unsuspecting victims.

If you and the family fancy an all-inclusive day out, you can book your own private VIP space at Tiki Cabana, which comes with a few special features. Visitors will receive their own reserved parking space, a TV, a seating area and a private hot tub, as well as lunch. Oh, and there’s a fully stocked fridge with a great range of soft drinks and alcohol.

All guests are now required to book online, so make sure you grab your tickets before heading to the Waterpark. You can also take advantage of The Sandcastle’s digital planning tools, which are really helpful for guests with a disability or additional needs.

Sandcastle Waterpark is a stone’s throw away from a host of other attractions, from the famous Pleasure Beach to the even more famous Blackpool Tower. Pick from the best of the bunch in our definitive guide to Attractions in Blackpool.
