Located on Bingley Road in the UNESCO world heritage site of Saltaire, Salt Pots is a friendly ceramic painting studio that offers a warm welcome to the world of ceramic painting. Book a table and pick a design of pot, plate or paintable object you’d like to work on. You’ll be guided through how to use the paints and shown some techniques should you be stuck for ideas. Whether you’re in a small group or wanting to paint with a whole party, Salt Pots has enough space for all and can be a great creative alternative for kid’s birthday and hen parties.

As well as calling into the shop. You can paint pots at home with their pottery-to-go kits or try your hand at jewellery design with their silver jewellery-to-go kits. In the takeaway pottery kits you can choose your pot and paints online before picking them up and getting stuck into painting in your own time. Each piece will then be glazed and fired back at the shop and available for you to pick up, ready to use. Salt Pots also offers the chance to make a record of your baby’s hand and footprints on a pot, creating a precious memory held in ceramic.

Salt Pots are also an official stockist of Frenchie Paint. These odourless and eco-friendly furniture paints come in stunning colours as well as being safe to use on children’s toys and furniture. Have a go for yourself with one of their pottery-to-go kits or, book their 18 seater party room for a fun packed pottery painting party.
