Pop Boutique Liverpool

Liverpool‘s had a Pop Boutique since 1989, and even though it moved around a few times before settling in its current home on Bold Street, it now fits right in, nestled between coffee shops and other independent businesses. It opened as the second shop in the North West (the first one is in Manchester) and to this day, continues to cater to vintage and retro lovers, with both genuine vintage finds and their own line of clothing and accessories, inspired by the patterns and silhouettes of the eras gone by, from the 1950s to the early 2000s.

Generally, Pop Boutique houses vintage clothing, vinyl and homeware, but the Liverpool shop certainly focuses on the first two. There are two floors where you’ll find an abundance of clothes, belts, bags, sunglasses and vintage-inspired jewellery. There are lots of records too if you fancy having a browse once you’ve tried on all of the corduroy shirts and flower-patterned trousers.

The shop is round the corner from FACT, and close to many of the city’s cutest bars and cafés, from Cafe Tabac to Leaf, and other vintage and clothing stores like Cow and Resurrection. It’s a regular spot for the city’s students and fashion-lovers. Bold Street changes often, with businesses coming and going all the time but Pop Boutique has been around for a while and really, that speaks for itself.
