Oulton Hall and Spa

Demi Sheridan, Editorial Assistant
Welcome to Yorkshire and Oulton Hall & Spa. Perfectly located to explore the whole of Yorkshire, situated only 2 miles from junction 30 off the M62 or Junction 44 off the M1. Standing within the beautiful Yorkshire countryside close to Leeds, Oulton Hall combines all the elegance of a mid 18th century mansion with the modern facilities you would expect for business and leisure, including, Champagne Bar, Drawing Room serving traditional afternoon tea, 2 restaurants, not to mention the 7 individually designed suites and the conference and banqueting facilities for up to 350 guests.

An incredible, mid 18th century mansion with breathtaking gardens, that has been lovingly restored and extended to create a hotel with a traditional character and unique charm offering everything a guest needs to ease the stresses of everyday life. Golfers will relish the challenge of the championship Calverley course, or why not treat yourself to a relaxing health and beauty treatment in the Spa at the Oul
Oulton Hall and Spa

This stunning mid 18th century mansion and surrounding gardens has been lovingly restored to house the Oulton Hall and Spa. By maintaining its traditional character and unique charm, this hotel offers that little bit extra than your typical countryside get away.

Close to Leeds, the Oulton Hall and Spa sits within the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Offering a multitude of escapism activities to ease the stresses of everyday life. Do you play golf? Why not have a few rounds at the championship Calverley course. Do you not play golf? Treat yourself to a relaxing health and beauty treatment in the Spa.

While visiting West Yorkshire, it might be worth leaving the beautiful grounds and exploring the dozens of country walks available. Or if you have never been to Leeds before. Spend one of the days in the city centre. There are hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants just waiting for you there.

As you would expect, the rooms at the Oulton Hall and Spa combine elegance with those all important modern features. Located in the modern wing of the hotel (the extended part) the rooms are contemporary, not traditional 18th century, don’t worry. You will have a king-sized bed, soft pillows, a cosy duvet, a TV and coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms – the kind I would be choosing – are called hideouts and they overlook the scenery and lush green landscapes.

Now, say you saw how nice the Oulton Hall and Spa is and you don’t want to leave but your party is hungry. No worries. There is a Champagne bar, Drawing room (serving traditional afternoon tea) and 2 restaurants within the mansion itself. Now that is fancy!

The Calverley Grill, option one. A relaxing, welcoming restaurant serving the finest and freshest local ingredients. The Claret Jug, option two. This is more your traditional English pub, serving a range of ‘must-try dishes’ and drinks, as well as those always popular pub classics.
