Novotel Leeds Centre

The 4 star Novotel Hotel promotes style and modernity. With 196 rooms, an onsite restaurant and guest fitness suite.

Novotel is simplicity at its finest, the large open spaces wrapping the ground floor encourage you to sit and relax in the lounge area (its calming atmosphere might be helpful if waiting on someone to finish getting ready).

Looking for a bite to eat before you head out and explore Leeds city centre? You don’t have to look far, The Soap Factory Cocktail Lounge and Kitchen can be found on the ground floor.

The Soap Factory is a brasserie-style restaurant serving quality food and drinks at a reasonable price. Think gentlemen’s club meets ladies brunch. The leather seats and dark wooden features allow you to fully relax and enjoy a good meal. The menu and design are inspired by the rich history of Leeds and the Soap Works Manufacturer. The crowd favourite, the ploughman’s board – locally cured meats and Yorkshire cheese – makes for a great group starter.

But be sure to venture out, the hotel is very centrally located, guests are surrounded by some of the city’s best restaurants and bars and it would be a shame to miss them. Head down to the famous River Aire and check out the redeveloped industrial area now known for quirky bars and live music venues. Or maybe you prefer your shopping, not a problem. The area has more than enough to keep you busy.

After all that exploring (Leeds is a very big city), return to your well appointed room and get ready for a great night’s sleep in your big double bed. Décor in the rooms is simple and modern, nothing too crazy or unusual is to be expected. You will have a mini fridge, an iron, a hairdryer and an ensuite. Perfect. Or, for all you coffee fanatics out there, Novotel’s Superior and executive rooms have their own Nespresso machines and a wireless speaker (Fancy).

Our tip? Try the breakfast, you won’t regret it.
