Martin Moore

Martin Moore has been designing and building beautiful bespoke kitchens since the company was founded in 1975.

When Martin Moore set to work chiselling out a dovetail joint on his first piece of furniture, he most certainly wasn’t aware that he was founding an original luxury English kitchen company. Good things grow, and before long Moore had turned his passion for crafting handmade furniture into a thriving business.

Classic, timeless, English furniture, designed and handmade to order.

Over the last 45 years, the family-owned business has developed its signature style of classic, timeless, English furniture, designed and handmade to order. The furniture is made in the company’s Yorkshire workshops by expert cabinet-makers, who use a combination of traditional and modern techniques to create stunning luxury kitchens.

Influenced by the exquisite symmetry and scale found in the work of Inigo Jones: an English architect of the early modern period, often credited with bringing the classical architecture of the Italian Renaissance to Britain; Martin Moore’s luxury kitchens are both functional and effortlessly elegant.
Once designed, most kitchens are installed within 7 days, including worktops, with painting taken a further week following the connection of appliances. With a high level of expertise and exceptional service, the experienced workforce of designers, fitters, painters and cabinet makers have been with the company for decades.

Martin Moore’s luxury kitchens are both functional and effortlessly elegant.

In addition to their Altrincham premises, the company now has seven showrooms across the UK – still family-run with the same attention to detail – and dedicated to producing bespoke handmade kitchens. Individual and timeless, a Martin Moores kitchen is constructed from the highest quality materials.
