The Lowry Outlet Mall is a discount shopping mall with 80 or so outlets and a cinema. Now owned by Peel Land and Property, the landlord of much of The Quays, it has improved a tad of late but the development has struggled to ever pull in the public in big numbers.

It offers a few chain eateries for those visiting The Quays, the best of which is Pizza Express, but is otherwise an unremarkable shopping centre where everyday feels like Sunday. Perhaps the outlet model is not what The Quays needs and a radical rethink is required.
