Inch Arts

Occupying the ground floor of the old town library, just across the road from Altrincham Interchange, Inch Arts is an inclusive and welcoming creative community and award-winning arts centre in South Manchester, which champions creativity among all.

It took over the space and facilities previously offered by the Trafford division of the UK-wide Fab Lab network in 2018, continuing to provide beginners inductions and open access to a wide range of digital equipment, including 3D printing, laser and vinyl cutting technology. It also offers classes, courses and workshops in more traditional areas of arts and crafts, such as life drawing, painting, printmaking, textiles, animation and photography. And Inch Arts is home to a family of over 30 local artists, makers, musicians and creative businesses, offering studio and co-working spaces for hire and hosting art exhibitions and events for anyone to attend.

Whether you’re in search of a new hobby, want to prototype a novel design idea, or are a practicing artist looking for a new community to join, this is a great place to head.
