Hope Street Hotel

Creative Tourist

Known in Liverpool as the place to stay in on your wedding night, Hope Street Hotel is beautiful a boutique hotel to stay, conveniently located on Hope Street (of course), in the Georgian Quarter – close to everything you may need culinarily and culturally, but away from the hustle and bustle of the immediate city centre.

Located in what was originally a 19th-century warehouse, Hope Street Hotel was renovated and redesigned to create a luxurious contemporary space. The hotel describes itself as favouring the colour white – fresh, clean and crisp, the interior is complemented pink Cheshire brick, cherry and walnut bespoke furniture and wooden floors. The overall effect is that of inviting, pared back rooms. You can choose from a range of rooms, from the ultimate luxury of the Rooftop Suite to the cosy King Rooms.

It’s worth mentioning too that the hotel is committed to sustainability, having implemented a range of green initiatives, including using renewable energy sources, reducing waste, and using locally-sourced and organic produce in its restaurant. Indeed, the award-winning restaurant is worth mentioning –  The London Carriage Works, is undoubtedly a popular destination for food lovers in Liverpool. Expect fine dining with a menu of modern British cuisine and a focus on seasonal and locally-sourced ingredients. The hotel’s second restaurant, 1931, serves hand-stretched pizza, pasta and meatballs, salads and sharing boards.

Nearby you’ll find both of the stunning Liverpool Cathedrals, Unity Theatre around the corner, Everyman Theatre just down the road as well as some excellent brunch spots like Moose Coffee and The Quarter.
