Green & Co

A new addition to the Altrincham food scene, Green & Co is, as the name suggests, an eating establishment devoted to all things delicious and healthy. It’s a salad and juice bar focusing on seasonal produce, prepared with the freshest ingredients imaginable.

The menu is geared around salads, juices, smoothies, and super bowls – all packed with energy and taste. The spicy Thai tofu salad is a great option for vegans, consisting of mixed leaves and chopped romaine, roasted sesame tofu, raw corn, cucumbers, shredded cabbage, fresh basil, fresh coriander, spicy sunflower seeds, a squeeze of lime with a spicy cashew dressing.

And there are a handful of grain bowls, such as the salmon sushi bowl, portobello mushrooms bowl and harvest bowl, with warm wild rice combined with half a dozen or so carefully-selected ingredients that will keep you energised throughout the day, without the crash that often comes from more common lunch options.

The aim is to increase well-being with hearty, healthy food, full of flavour and nutrition

There’s a section for kids, plus a range of breakfast options, such as Green & Co’s homemade porridge with toppings that include fresh banana, strawberries and hemp seeds; avocado on toast and an ever-changing array of freshly-baked goods to eat in or take away.

Smoothies and juice selections make up an important part of the menu, serving as a quick, easy and delicious way of getting more than your five a day portions of fruit or veg. The Green & Co Smoothie is a particular stand-out, made by blending together spinach, pineapple, apple, banana and almond milk.

If you’re looking for a tasty way to stay happy and healthy, look no further. The team behind Green & Co are devoted to connecting the people of Altrincham with real food, free of preservatives and artificial ingredients. The aim is to increase well-being with hearty, healthy food, full of flavour and nutrition. And judging by the reaction of locals so far, they’re doing a fantastic job.
