Dough Pizza Kitchen is a pizzeria in Manchester’s Northern Quarter, imagine a Pizza Express-style pizza and you’re not far off. The venue feels a little faded compared to its rivals and the pizza isn’t anywhere near the modern Neapolitan standard they churn out in the nearby Rudy’s or PLY.

There are some good vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options here, but, ironically, the dough is by far the weakest ingredient. Despite the shortcomings, Dough Pizza Kitchen remains a safe bet for kids and anybody with a not too snobby opinion on pizza.
