Cocktail Beer Ramen and Bun, aka CBR+B, is a late-night ramen joint on Oldham Street in Manchester. It’s also one of the true independent places in the Northern Quarter. Scratch the surface of most venues and you’ll find it’s part of a sneakily-disguised chain, funded by corporate moneymen. Not so with Cocktail Beer Ramen and Bun. This is a labour of love, set up by a group of friends and built from the ground up. It’s also why the staff are so happy and feel valued (the majority have been here since the very start).

But as inspiring as the origins are, it all comes down to the food. And happily, Cocktail Beer Ramen and Bun comes up with the goods and more.
