Originally known as Victoria Pier when it opened back in 1893, Blackpool South Pier has built a reputation as the most ‘adrenaline-fuelled’ pier in Blackpool – and for good reason.

Offering something of a mini theme park to visitors, Blackpool South Pier has a ton of white-knuckle rides to get stuck into. The Crazy Coaster, Cliffhanger and Breakdance are all worth a go, as well as the infamous SkyCoaster, which launches visitors 120 feet into the air.

The carousel, T cups and Mini Miami are all good options for younger kids, as well as the Bouncy Slide. And you can always take refuge inside the arcades if the weather isn’t on your side.

There’s enough going on for adults here too. We’d recommend popping into The Gin House, where you can enjoy live music from talented artists and DJs during the summer months. The bar has modern décor, classic cocktails and fantastic views all year round.
