With a leafy interior and bamboo popping up throughout, BAM BOO lives up to its tropical name on Liverpool’s Bold Street, with the menu serving up all kinds of tasty wonders, even if they’re a little more exotic than you may expect at first glance.

Describing itself as “your favourite brunch spot on Bold Street”, BAM BOO promises a lot and delivers even more. It’s a truly popular spot that seems full at all times of day so if you want to pop in for a long-awaited brunch, make sure you book a table in advance.

On the menu, you’ll find some brunch staples: a full English breakfast, all kinds of eggs and toasts, and pancakes galore – the chefs know their city well and made the most of Liverpool‘s insatiable hunger for incredibly indulgent sweet treats. If it’s sweets you fancy, sweets you will find: from Kinder Bueno flavoured stacks and ‘Pistachio Chantilly’ to Biscoff or the classic bacon and maple combo. Did we mention you can have any of these in French toast form too? Lunch highlights include steak sandwiches (with red wine jus, just to throw that in there), kimchi chicken burger and jerk cauli tacos – you will definitely leave full.

BAM BOO isn’t all food though – there are cocktails too, as well as wine, beer and a choice of other hot, cold and non-alcoholic drinks. On Sundays, you can treat yourself to a Bottomless Brunch or a Sunday roast which you can have all to yourself or, dare we say it – share! The roast sharing board is a good option if you’re planning on visiting with someone who loves all the parts of a roast you may like a little less and, of course, vegan options are available too. Unlimited red wine jus (or onion gravy) and top ups of roast potatoes are included in the roast sharing platters so this may just be a deciding factor.

Whether you’re starting your day with a decadent brunch or unwinding with cocktails, BAM BOO delivers a slice of paradise right in the Liverpool city centre.
