Abington Street Market Food Hall

Housing six independent food traders, two bars and a coffee shop, this historic market hall has been revitalised in recent years as a new Blackpool food and drink hub. Boasting a cocktail bar and craft beer pub, as well as street food operators selling the likes of punjabi street food, ramen, tacos, bagels, corn dogs, Neapolitan pizza and dirty burgers, families and friends are spoilt for choice.

Perfect for fussy eaters, no matter what you fancy there’s something on offer here. Start your day at Neighbourhood, which specialises in breakfast muffins and bagels as well as the likes of breakfast-loaded tots and a cheesy bean grilled cheese, then grab a coffee at Concrete Coffee, which serves a range of barista coffees alongside different teas, smoothies, protein matcha, ice cream, cakes, bakes and waffles all day long.

As the day goes on, you’ll find a variety of flavours at traders like Flipadelphia, which offers classic market fare including juicy burgers, hot dogs, and fries, with an added personal touch from owners Paul and Steph, who grew up around the market. For pizza lovers, Pizza Rana serves up Neapolitan-style pies made with the finest Italian ingredients including specially imported 00 flour. Its dough is fermented for a minimum of 24 hours to give it that signature chewy, soft texture. Paired with a carefully curated wine list, it’s definitely a good crowd pleaser.

For those craving bold flavours, Tuk Tuk serves Punjabi soul food, from cheesy stuffed naan to fresh curries, crispy bhajis, and samosas. Kensho Men brings Japanese street food to the mix, offering everything from ramen and teriyaki skewers, to fresh fish like prawns and octopus.

Nomad at Abington Street Market
JJ.

If you’re in the mood for indulgence, Chamo dishes out loaded tacos, waffle fries, boneless wings, and plantains in hearty sharing boxes, whilst for drinks, you should head to Nomad, a craft beer bar with whiskey and cocktails. If that’s not your thing, then check out Public, where you can sip natural wines, cocktails, and local made drinks like Lancashire favourite Farm Yard Brew. Each vendor offers something unique, making Abington Street Market a true foodie destination.
