RNCM Spring Season 2024
Johnny James, Managing EditorThe Royal Northern College of Music, a cultural staple on Oxford Road for over 50 years, has an electrifying spring season in the works. From the familiar to the unprecedented, Venetian opera to contemporary pop, the programme is wildly eclectic, and bold collaborations abound.
Everyone from Mercury Prize-nominated pianist Fergus McCreadie to visionary conductor Robert Ames will take to the RNCM stage, along with local boundary-pushing ensembles Manchester Camerata and Manchester Collective. All as the next generation of musicians gear up to show us what the future holds.
Diaries at the ready as we select our highlights from the season.
