Meet poets Kate Fox and Kim Moore – right after her Women In Words festival creative writing workshop at Dunham Massey – for an entertaining chat and readings of their work over hot drinks and sweet treats.

Kate Fox, well known to listeners of BBC Radio for her comic stand-up series, has been poet in residence for the Great North Run, Glastonbury and Quarry Bank Mill, and recently completed a PhD on class, gender and Northern English regional identity in stand-up performance, having held a full-time studentship in the Performance and Cultural Industries School at the University of Leeds. Another PhD student, Cumbrian poet Kim Moore’s first collection, The Art of Falling, won the 2016 Geoffrey Faber Memorial Prize.
