This May half term, head to Trafford Palazzo in Manchester, transforming into a magical garden wonderland in collaboration with Manchester Urban Diggers, marking National Children’s Gardening Week. Enjoy a luscious outdoor space where families are invited to get involved in garden-themed activities all designed to make young minds simply bloom. Even better – they’re completely free!

The daily schedule is packed with interactive workshops and engaging games, and creative souls might want to get involved with the community arts project, where you’ll have a chance create cute flower handprints, contributing to a floral collage that will blossom throughout the week.

And for those aspiring gardeners, take-home seed packets and plant pots await, so your little one can continue their gardening adventures at home.

Manchester’s own Plant Shop will be also be there, hosting a boutique pop-up, with a selection of gorgeous flowers and plants available to buy. This is a great opportunity to treat your loved ones to a botanical surprise and bring a piece of the enchanting garden home with you.

Get ready for a week of laughter, learning, and blossoming memories at Trafford Palazzo’s Garden Extravaganza – where every moment is a celebration of the beauty of nature.
