The Midland Hotel Tour and Cream Tea at The Midland Hotel, City Centre 2 September 2019 Tickets from £20 — Book now

Join Manchester Guided Tours Blue Badge Guide Jean Bailo as she takes an inquisitive look into a defining city centre landmark with a tour and cream tea. The Midland Hotel is long-standing part of Manchester’s architectural make-up. With its grand exterior and history of notable guests, alongside the more quirky encounters it has seen, there is a treasure trove of stories waiting to be told within its walls.

The Midland Hotel Tour has been running since the 1980’s and it has yet to decrease in popularity. Jean talks about the architecture of both the interior and exterior, with descriptions of how the rooms have evolved in style over the decades. Depending on how busy the hotel is, the tour will take you into some of the rooms and explore areas that are usually unseen by the public.

Once the  building has been explored you’ll be taken to the tea room where a classic english cream tea will be served, expect decadence and delicate crockery.
