This Christmas, bring your whole family to see a double performance of The Hallé’s The Snowman and Hairy Maclary at Bridgewater Hall in Manchester.

Expect to be enthralled by the magic of Christmas sounds as Hallé Orchestra perform Howard Blake’s magical score live, with music including the well-known and much loved ‘Walking in the Air’ delivered by the chorister, and The Snowman plays on a big screen alongside the music-playing.

This will be an orchestral evening with a difference. Experience Hairy Maclary from Donaldson’s Dairy as the loveable canine goes ‘out of the gate and off for a walk’ on an exciting adventure, which brings together music, rhyme and Lynley Dodd’s captivating illustrations. You and your children will also be captivated by the stories of Slinky Malinki’s Christmas Crackers and Hairy Maclary’s Showbusiness, with words and illustrations by Lynley Dodd and mesmerising music by Timothy Redmond.
