Suki Seokyeong Kang: Land Sand Strand – Activation. Part of Liverpool Biennial – Beautiful world, where are you at Bluecoat

Suki Seokyeong Kang: Land Sand Strand – Activation at Bluecoat, City Centre 14 — 15 July 2018 Entrance is free

Suki Seokyeong Kang’s sculptural installation for Liverpool Biennial 2018 will be activated at Bluecoat through a series of movements inspired by the Korean Spring Oriole Dance. The activation involves three-minute choreographies which can be carried out one after the other by a performer, a member of staff or the audience. The choreographies are outlined in a manual which is available in the gallery, and activation after the opening weekend is dependent on the participation of the audience.
