Spaces Up-Above at Printworks
Maja Lorkowska, Exhibitions Editor
Always remember to look up, particularly if you’re in Printworks this April! World-renowned light artist Rupert Newman is presenting a kaleidoscopic digital ceiling, filled with shapeshifting patterns, colour and light. Spaces Up-Above is the artist’s first ever Manchester exhibition and perfectly placed to reach a wide audience.
Newman has previously created works in Hong Kong, Venice and Abu Dhabi, using his expertise to bring public spaces to life with mesmerising digital dreamscapes. Now, he has transformed 1000 square metre LED screens into an immersive ceiling, the biggest digital one in Europe.
Spaces Up-Above is on during the Easter holidays too. Catch it before it finishes at the end of the month.
