RNCM Great Big Charity Music Quiz with Pete Waterman

Johnny James, Managing Editor

2 June 2020 Tickets from £20 — Book now

Who could have guessed that virtual quizzes would become one of our chief sources of entertainment this spring? While your Zoom diary’s probably full of boozy quizzes with families and friends, RNCM’s Great Big Charity Music Quiz is something a little different.

The event will be hosted by music industry legend Pete Waterman, who will guide you through questions covering a range of genres, spanning all eras. You need to know your Morrissey from your Mozart, but you don’t need to know loads about classical music to be in with a chance of winning some great prizes.

The online event will also include musical entertainment, with RNCM student Christopher Pulleyn playing the piano for live music rounds. He regularly works with some of the largest arts organisations in the country, and is a cracking pianist.

Most importantly, the quiz will raise vital funds for RNCM and their local NHS partners, the Manchester Foundation Trust Charity, who do an amazing job of running our local hospitals. So it’s not only a way to connect with others and test your musical knowledge, but a way to support two great causes!
