Coming to The Kings Arms for one performance this weekend is Red Bastard – an unforgettable, boundary-pushing and terrific show. Blending comedy, improvisation, and audience interaction, this is a show that will leave you giggling, thinking, and even a little uncomfortable – in the best possible way.

Created and performed by artist/ comedian Eric Davis, the performance centres around a larger-than-life character, blurring the lines between traditional clowning and dark comedy. With an exaggerated physical presence, vibrant energy, and a subversive wit, Red Bastard uses interaction to unlock the audience’s true desires, fears and ambitions.

Eric Davis is an award-winning performer, director, and Cirque du Soleil clown. His critically-acclaimed bouffon, Red Bastard, has garnered 15 five-star reviews and has won awards for Best Theatre, Most Outrageous Show, and Commitment to Community, to name just a few. Red Bastard was also ranked in the Top 5 shows at Edinburgh Fringe Festival (LIST Mag). As a clown, Davis was also part of the ensemble in 2 Cirque Du Soleil shows, Alegria and Iris.

We think The Kings Arms offers the perfect intimate setting for this utterly terrifying experimental performance. With thrills, spills and seduction, Red Bastard is a roller-coaster of a performance. Don’t miss out.
