Prism: Light Trail

Carmel Smickersgill, Tours & Activities Editor

Prism: Light Trail at Waterside, Manchester 23 November — 31 December 2023 Entrance is free — Visit now

This winter, a series of light installations are coming to Sale Town Centre. These are no commercial and tacky Christmas lights; Things That Go On Things and Leeway Creative Production have been working with Trafford based public artist Venessa Scott to create something for the community designed by the community. Vanessa has been working with local groups of children and young people to develop the installation, giving the borough a chance to choose how it wants to celebrate light in these darker months. The light trail is part of Prism, Waterside Art’s festival of Music and Light.

More on this one when we have it. Until then, check out our guide to Light Festivals in the North for more wondrous illuminations.
