International artists are taking over Humber Street Gallery as part of the Liverpool Biennial touring programme. Inci Eviner’s film installation Reenactment of Heaven reflects on ideas of religion and authority, addressing the place of women in heaven; Suki Seokyeong Kang’s multi-part installation Land Sand Strand serves as a visual translation of Korean musical notation; and drawings by Annie Pootoogook challenge traditional notions of Inuit art, instead depicting the realities of daily life.

Celebrate the programme’s launch by attending the free LB2018 Tour Opening Party on 17 Jan at Humber Street Gallery, 6-9pm. No booking required.
