Panto at the Abbey 2024 at Kirkstall Abbey, Leeds 16 — 27 August 2024 Tickets from £10.00 — Book now

Join outdoor performance favourites Talegate Theatre for Panto at the Abbey, a summer of family-friendly adventures this August.

Based in South Yorkshire, TaleGate Theatre Productions have been dazzling family audiences up and down the UK with their perfect blend of colourful costumes, music and theatrical magic. We’re thrilled that they’re set to bring traditional pantomime fun to Leeds this summer.

Set in the beautiful surroundings of Kirkstall Abbey, Panto at the Abbey promises a real treat. Expect three familiar and beloved children’s tales – Alice in Wonderland, The Little Mermaid and Pinocchio – performed with lots of songs, slapstick and silliness.

Lewis Carroll’s classic story, Alice in Wonderland is taken from page to stage on 16 August. Packed with magic and mayhem, join Alice as she wanders through Wonderland. Expect a show brimming with imagination, audience interaction and, of course, Carroll’s crazy characters.

On 21 August, the mischievous tale of Pinocchio springs to life in the historical setting of Kirkstall Abbey. Follows Pinocchio on an adventure of a lifetime as he learns how to become a real boy.

Last (but not least) the charming Story of The Little Mermaid is set to make a splash with young and old theatre-goers on 27 August.

This series of unmissable outdoor pantomimes will go ahead come rain or shine – so be sure to bring chairs, blankets, and a picnic to enjoy during the show.

Who says pantomime should be saved for Christmas?
