Manchester Poetry Library Tours at Manchester Poetry Library, Manchester 15 — 18 June 2022 Entrance is free — Visit now

Throughout the Festival Of Libraries, running Wednesday 15 to Sunday 19 June, there will be 20-minute introductory tours of Manchester Poetry Library every day at 1pm as well as a late tour on Wednesday at 6pm (booking is advised). Manchester Poetry Library is Manchester’s newest library, part of the Manchester Metropolitan campus but open to the public and with membership available for everyone.

Manchester Poetry Library is home to an extensive collection of poetry journals and books in different languages as well as a unique poetry on vinyl collection. There is a children’s section to explore and family activity packs will be available during the Festival.

It’s also a chance to catch Abigail Reynolds’s Elliptical Reading project as part of the British Art Show 9 as well as a discussion about the future of poetry libraries.
