Make It! Coconut Pyramids at Manchester Jewish Museum, Cheetham Hill 10 April 2025 Tickets from £0.00 — Book now

Looking for a fun and tasty activity to enjoy with your family? Head to the Jewish Museum on 10 April for Make It! Coconut Pyramids, a baking workshop where you’ll learn to make scrumptious coconut pyramids – sweet, delicious treats traditionally enjoyed during the Jewish festival of Passover, which is taking place from 12-20 April this year.

During the session, find out facts and stories behind this tasty snack and explore interesting Passover traditions. After you’ve made the coconut pyramids, enjoy decorating them with a drizzle of chocolate, and – this is the best part! – take them home to scoff (all to yourself if you like), along with a special recipe card to recreate them for family and friends – everyone’s a winner!

After the workshop, families are invited to explore the museum and try out one of the exciting family backpacks, packed with fun ways to explore the collection.

Some useful information…

This workshop is open to all ages, but children must be accompanied by an adult. All ingredients are vegetarian, but the recipe contains eggs. If you have any dietary requirements, please email elly@manchesterjewishmuseum.com in advance. Our mouths are watering already – book now to avoid missing out!
