The canal and riverside of Leeds city centre often goes under appreciated but with attractions like the Royal Armouries and the quaint novelty of the bookshop boat and Leeds water taxi it’s well worth a visit. You can now explore the waterfront with Leeds Waterfront Walk, a self guided tour and quiz. Starting in the heartland of Leeds’ industrial past you’ll navigate modern architecture, sites of historic significance and several heritage pubs and finish by Leeds Minster. It’s a scenic alternative way to really get to know the personality of this northern city.
