The Wild Grill Experience - Spring Edition at Millington Hall Farm, Altrincham 11 — 27 April 2025 Tickets from £89.50 — Book now

Millington Hall Farm is welcoming curious foodies into their outdoor culinary experiences for an unforgettable, educational and edible evening to remember. Barbecuing enthusiasts, whether they lie on the side of prepping or eating, will love the farm’s Wild Grill Experience. This 4 hour meat prep masterclass and grill session, will teach you how to get the absolute most out of your cuts and have you create a feast to be remembered together.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a welcome beer and charcuterie snacks. Then, guided by the expert chefs and butchers at Millington Hall, you’ll learn and try your hand at pig butchery, meat seasoning and sausage making. Most of the meat will then be taken to the fire pit and prepped to eat. You will however, get the chance to make your own sausages which you’ll be able to take home and enjoy another day. Once the meat is prepped you’ll be led to the fire, where an expert pit master will talk you through the methods and techniques being used to cook that day.

The experience ends with a collective feast in the surrounds of a Nordic Tipi. The cosy tent will fill with the aromas of your hard work come to fruition as cuts of meat emerge from the grill. You can then sit down to share this special meal with your course mates and teachers. Alongside the grilled cuts there will also be seasonal sides and some special slow cooked cuts prepared ahead of time by the chefs.

While you’re entering into the spirit of the feast, be reassured that all of the meat and beverages for Millington Hall Farm’s experiences come from farms and breweries within a twenty mile radius of the farm itself. Making the experience brilliantly sustainable and supportive of local producers.

The farm has recently added a set of glamping accommodation options to their land. After enjoying the feast you can walk to a real bed in a wood fire heated tent where in the morning you’ll be greeted by a fresh cooked breakfast and uninterrupted views over the whole valley.

Alongside the Wild Grill Experience, there are a well curated selection of experiences including Overnight Smoke, Bake off, Gin Making and cooking a whole lamb in a day. Check out on the Millington Hall Farm website for more info.
