IndieFlicks monthly film festival returns to FACT this April with another selection of shorts sourced from around the world. In addition to the usual programme, this month’s selection includes an additional special Director’s Choice screening of Stephanie Zari’s award-winning Being Keegan.

A film about the ramifications of childhood trauma, Being Keegan tells the story of Jay, who spent his youth kicking a football around the backstreets of Liverpool with his friend Sean. Tragedy strikes, with life changing results. 25-years later and Jay (played by This is England and Boardwalk Empire‘s Stephen Graham) returns to Liverpool a naval officer, but still haunted by his past.
