This July the University of Salford will play host to IMMERSE, a free interactive and exciting evening of research and science.

IMMERSE yourself and discover the local, global and virtual through sight, sound, sensation, touch and taste.

During this memorable event, attendees will get the opportunity to experience and discover the local, global and virtual through multisensory exploration. The University will host an array of activities inspired by different communities from across Salford and Greater Manchester.

Sample socially and environmentally responsible food from a sustainable street food market.

Learn about the local interventions that address some of our modern global challenges and the people, place and processes that facilitate change; step into an immersive learning environment within research rooms and activity spaces; take the opportunity to meet inventors, creators and architects and connect, chat and exchange ideas. Event attendees will also get the opportunity to sample socially and environmentally responsible food from a sustainable street food market.

IMMERSE, is a free interactive and exciting evening of research and science.

This satellite event is organised by The University of Salford as part of the annual Festival of Research. All attendees under the age of 25 are asked to bring photographic ID with them.
