Packed full of song, dancing and lots of laughs, this is a show that promises to get everyone up on their feet.

Winner of the ‘Best Family Show Award’ at the 2023 Olivier Awards, Hey Duggee: The Live Theatre Show is a popular choice for pre-schoolers, and their grown-ups. Packed full of song, dancing and lots of laughs, this is a show that promises to get everyone up on their feet. Joyous and bright, little fans of the cult TV show will delight in seeing all of their favourite Hey Duggee characters live on stage.

This is the first-ever theatre show of the hugely popular CBeebies series, which sees Duggee and his friends brought to life through extraordinary puppetry and storytelling. Expect to see Duggee and the squirrels alongside many more of the TV series’ familiar characters: Betty, Happy, Tag, Norrie and Roly.

We love that all of the young theatre-goers feel involved in the show from the get-go. Super engaging and fun, every child is handed a sticker sheet on the way in. As the show progresses, the littlest Hey Duggee fans can earn badges in time with their favourite characters – a brilliant interactive touch. The Lowry will be transformed into Duggee’s Clubhouse and everyone’s invited.

Hey Duggee: The Live Theatre Show is a brilliant tribute to the original TV show.

Since Hey Duggee first burst onto TV screens in 2014, it has won a host of accolades including seven BAFTAs and two international Emmy Awards. The show was also the most streamed children’s show on BBC iPlayer in 2022, for the third year in a row, and remains a popular choice for children and their grown-ups. The theatre production continues to build on this success – winning an Olivier Award and receiving strong acclaim from audiences and theatre critics alike. Described as a “riotous adaptation” by The Guardian and a “joyous piece of family entertainment” by Time Out, Hey Duggee: The Live Theatre Show is a brilliant tribute to the original TV show.

A children’s show that stands out from the crowd – the perfect ticket for a magical family trip to the theatre.

A lively, fun-packed and memorable trip to the theatre for first-timers, Hey Duggee has been adapted for the stage by two titans of the theatre world: writer, musician and comedian Vikki Stone and award-winning director Matthew Xia. With a perfect running time of 55 minutes and no interval, Hey Duggee is a children’s show that stands out from the crowd – the perfect ticket for a magical family trip to the theatre.
