Haçienda Classical 2021
Ian Jones, Food and Drink EditorHaçienda Classical is back! Working alongside Haçienda DJ Graeme Park, Manchester Camerata give a classical spin to anthems once played at the legendary Haçienda nightclub. The wildly successful show has seen 5-star reviews and landmark performances at Glastonbury, Isle Of Wight Festival, Kendal Calling, and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
More red wine and comfy seats than industrial piping and banging beats
Depot Mayfield plays host to the long-awaited Haçienda Classical performance this November, featuring Graeme Park performing live on stage with the Manchester Camerata, Peter Hook, the AMC Gospel Choir, as well as solo singers Yvonne Shelton, Rae Hall and Melanie Williams, plus some special guests that will be announced nearer the time.
This is the final of a series of dates in a run which includes dates at Blackpool Cricket Ground in August, Castlefield Bowl in September (this is on the verge of being sold out) and a handful of other dates around the country, including London and Glasgow. It’s fair to say this is your last chance to see this acclaimed show this year.
