Green walk

9 March — 30 April 2023 Entrance is free — Visit now

Over the April bank holiday weekend Whalley Range’s residents are opening their doors to a collection of artists, crafts people and makers as part of Green Walk. Organised by a group of residents, people are opening up their houses and gardens for local artists and designers to use as exhibition spaces.

Expect to find variety among the exhibitors with previous Green Walks hosting jewellery makers, painters, ceramicists, glassworkers and photographers. As well as exhibiting the artists will be selling work so it’s an excellent opportunity to support the local arts scene and acquire a new outstanding piece for your home. With over fifty artists taking part you can be sure to find something you love.

Exhibitors will be announced nearer the time as well as live music acts. After a leisurely afternoon perusing the gardens, houses and artworks  you can chill out and relax with refreshments and food served by Tibetan Kitchen.

Whether you’re a Whalley Range resident or visiting from further a field the event is a great way to get into the heart of the neighbourhood through its artists and generous residents.
