Freds at Night IV: Make Stuff at Fred Aldous, Manchester 18 May 2017 Entrance is free

Fred Aldous joins forces with MadLab for an evening of free workshops across three floors of the art supplies shop in Stevenson Square: explore the juncture between art, craft, science and technology through hands-on activities including the chance to create a piece of wearable tech, use conductive paint on a collaborative canvas and learn basic programming skills with tiny computer Raspberry Pi. Alternatively, use 127 year-old technology to have your photo taken in one of Fred Aldous’ photobooths, get a scan of yourself in 3D, or interact with a virtual world by walking around or using your virtual hands in the evening’s VR experience. Best of all, drinks will be supplied by Fred Aldous.
