FAMEHUNGRY at HOME
Creative Tourist
Following a critically acclaimed run at last year’s Edinburgh Fringe, multi award-winning UK performance artist Louise Orwin brings FAMEHUNGRY to HOME, a timely show where performance-meets-internet live stream to explore TikTok culture.
Diving headfirst into the TikTok universe, FAMEHUNGRY looks at how performance art can exist in the digital age. Performed simultaneously on TikTok and for a live theatre audience, the show is structured around a game: Louise wants to get her live stream to 20,000 likes and needs both audiences’ help to achieve this.
Created in collaboration with an actual Famous TikToker, The Almighty Algorithm, and a host of TikTok-Famous Faces, FAMEHUNGRY asks what the future looks like if all roads lead to TikTok.
