Easter at Tropical World at Tropical World, Until 21 April 2025 Tickets from £4.50 — Book now

Grab your binoculars and go on an awesome adventure with the whole family this Easter at Tropical World from 5 – 21 April, where little explorers will have the chance to meet and befriend Yorkshire’s only Morelet’s Crocodile. Watch out trying to feed him though, he’s hungry – and we all know what snappy crocodile’s like to eat…

There’s lots of crocodile-themed activities taking place at Tropical World over the Easter Holidays. Spot the eggs at Crackle’s Easter Egg Hunt. Crackle the crocodile has hidden special Easter eggs around the zoo – each egg reveals a fascinating fact about crocodiles. Pick up your free trail sheet at the admissions desk and start the hunt.

There are Keeper Talks taking place daily, where you can head over to Crackle’s enclosure to find out lots of fascinating facts from expert keepers. You’ll find out about a crocodile’s behaviour, diet, and natural habitat.

If you want to get a bit creative, head to the activity room packed with fun arts, crafts and colouring. For the children (and grownups!) who feel a little sleepy after all that croc-fun, head to Crocodile Storytime taking place on Mondays at 10:30am. These sessions are an additional £3 per child, and each child gets a milk and a cookie including in the price.

It’s been a full day of exploring, and whether you’ve had a milk and cookie or not, you’ve worked up an appetite! Enjoy delicious Easter-themed treats in the café or grab a freshly made stonebaked pizza at Tropical Lookout. Yum yum yum!

Other really cool things to do at Tropical World include wandering through the beautiful butterfly House, exploring the Aquarium, the Waterfall House, the Rainforest Canopy and more (sounds interesting, right?) – oh and you’ll get to see cute meerkats and naughty monkeys!

So find your best adventurer outfit and get ready for a crocodile-themed Easter trip that’s not your usual day out but seriously FUN and enjoyable, whatever the weather.
