Don’t Worry, Little Crab is being presented by the award-winning Little Angel Theatre as part of Manchester Literature Festival online. Using stunning puppetry and masterful storytelling, this lively performance will be broadcast on Crowdcast.

A real treat for families, Don’t Worry, Little Crab is an adaptation of Chris Haughton’s wonderful picture book of the same name. A story about mustering the courage to try something new, Little Crab and Very Big Crab live in a tiny rockpool near the sea. However, on one particular day, they decide to go for a dip in the vast ocean. Little Crab is very excited – until he catches a first glimpse of the water and the enormous waves – will he be brave enough to go in?

Recommended for children aged 2-5, this short filmed performance is accompanied by an aqua-themed craft activity. Young sea-adventurers can enjoy making their very own Little Crab and Very Big Crab puppets using simple materials you’ll find at home.
