DJ Shadow at Old Granada Studios, Castlefield 2 November 2016 Tickets from £19.50 — Book now

DJ Shadow has long held legendary status. Widely regarded as one of the deepest crate diggers in hip hop, Shadow’s career has taken in numerous milestones; defining trip hop with his debut album Endtroducing, working with some of raps finest lyricists in Quannum Projects and Solesides, collaborating with James Lavelle in downtempo super-group Unkle, and re-energising the concept of mixtapes with his Brainfreeze series.

This June saw Shadow release his 6th solo album, The Mountain Will Fall, and he’s coming to Old Granada Studios to perform tracks from that release, as well as drawing on a back catalogue spanning nearly 25 years. Support comes from Bondax & Lapalux, themselves no strangers to fusing melodic electronica with boom-bap inspired, left field beats and soul drenched samples.
