A new spectator sport, Live Competitive Painting has taken off in recent years (check out Art Battle Canada on YouTube) developing an international cult-following that relishes the excitement of watching artists from different disciplines battle it out under the pressure of the clock. As part of Hidden Altrincham, Clash of the Creatives will see six brave contenders go head-to-head for an intense one-hour session in front of the canvas, as they compete for the popular vote of the audience, who will decide the winning work. Come along and witness the blood bath of creativity unfold.
